• Technical training or degree, associates or higher; minimum of 4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• X-Ray, Computer Tomography (CT) and/or Magnetic Resonance (MR) Experience Preferred
• Previous working experience in Philips, holding Philips certification - an advantage
• Expert level troubleshooting skills and capable of evaluating room layout, site planning and service planning
• Must be able to effectively set up and connect hospital networks to Philips remote diagnostic applications.
• Requires superb customer and communication skills.
• Must be organized, self-sufficient and capable of working with little or no supervision.
• Management basic skills
• People management basic skills (small team management)
• Fluent English - mandatory. Portuguese - an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Start-up, calibration and service of a selection of imaging modalities (CT, MR, X-Ray and Ultrasound)
• Provide expert level service and install solutions
• Communicate and escalate technical issues and delays
• Keep installation projects on schedule
• Evaluate room layout and installation quality of mechanical install vendors
• Start-up in accordance with factory instructions and specifications
• Troubleshoot technical problems and repair out of box failures
• Correct vendor and factory errors and mistakes; order missing or damaged parts
• Provide feedback to HQ and support center, factory, project management and planning.
• Execute all service activities and tasks on equipment under responsibility.
• Perform complex equipment installation, investigative tests, and repairs installed systems in assigned modalities.
• Maintain tools & parts inventory under own responsibility, support scheduled maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc., and complete documents required of all interventions from preventive service, corrective to installations.
• Perform complex service or systems calls and interface with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
• Perform assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field data and recommend modifications or improvements.
• Successfully demonstrate thorough/advanced knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
• Generally, 4-5 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
