Role Purpose
The Senior Technician – Rotating Equipment Services plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and longevity of critical rotating machinery across various industries. This position is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and optimizing equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Deliver O&M Specialist support services.
Measure customer feedback on service quality, responsiveness, and problem resolution.
Engineering and technical support during outages and repair. Track uptime improvements for client assets post-maintenance or intervention.
Assess reductions in operational costs due to preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, and optimized repairs.
Track the revenue generated from services, including maintenance contracts, repairs, and condition monitoring solutions.
Measure efficiency in completing projects within agreed timelines, reducing downtime for clients.
Evaluate repeat business and client loyalty based on service effectiveness.
Number of safety incidents, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with industry regulations.

Ensure that all mechanical engineering rotating equipment standards are upheld to industry standards, safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Work closely with multidisciplinary SMEs including electrical engineering experts, control & instrumentation experts, process engineering experts and operations teams, to ensure seamless support to the client.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior engineers and junior engineers.
Stay updated on the latest trends, standards and technologies in the industry in order to implement innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement in maintenance and project execution and asset performance.
Candidate must be able to travel locally and internationally.
Requirements
BEng or BSc Degree or equivalent in electrical / mechanical engineering.
Professionally registered engineer certification will be advantageous.
>= 15 years of rotating equipment industry experience with a track record in solving complex problems on various types of rotating equipment sets such as steam turbines, gas turbines, pumps, compressors & reciprocating engines.
Proven track record in effective problem-solving capability within the various industries through project references.
Extensive experience in rotor dynamics and vibrations.
Experienced in rotating equipment design and engineering analysis (CAD, FEA etc.).
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, planning and reporting.
MS Office / Project / Google.
Skills & Knowledge:
Design — Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Administrative — Knowledge of administrative and drawing office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
