Role Description
In conjunction with the LIT Executive Management Team, participates in and develops the 3 to 5-year Strategic Plan for the Mobile market. Develop and grow the Mobile business. Develop, design, and formulate key strategic mobile sales and set BU directional goals and objectives. Increase Mobile Sales Revenue, in line with set targets. Provide leadership on managing customers and resolve customer issues while maintaining and growing the existing customer base and managing churn.
Develop granular monthly, weekly, daily plans to ensure revenue targets are achieved for the Mobile business. Develop customer data-driven strategies across the sales segments to build stronger relationships with our customers and higher levels of loyalty.
Develop plans to create and grow new business sales. Negotiate and manage contracts and authorize new business contracts to increase revenue.
Develop and oversee Customers’ acquisition plans and implementation to achieve the targets in the Sales Plan through direction to the Sales teams. Channel Management and Stakeholders Relationships. Work with our company stakeholders on our wireless spectrum assets.
Identify, engage, and build relationships with strategic channel stakeholders to assist in the growth and future revenue. Evaluate sales and channel models and their performance and direct the implementation of cost-effective and efficient models. Develop and ensure the implementation of the strategies for new channels/partners and incentive schemes.
Lead our product and pricing evolution in the Mobile Business space. Develop and implement pricing strategy to ensure LiT remains relevant & profitable in the market. Mobile Product development & Lifecycle management. Develop GTM strategy to support mobile product rollout & uptake. Responsible for developing mobile & fixed wireless access Device strategy and roadmap. Support legal, governance & compliance.
Responsible for building a team for the Mobile Business with the necessary skills & experience to deliver on performance targets. Responsible for staff evaluation, identifying performance strengths and deficiencies, and arranging for necessary corrective action. Manage the team in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
Requirements
Matric: Essential
Relevant B.Sc. or BCom degree: Essential
Post Graduate Degree: Essential
Maximum of 5 years Proven leadership track record on executive level: Essential
Maximum of 5 years' Experience in managing and working through Channel/Partners: Desirable
Maximum of 5 years' Experience in telecoms or related industries preferable: Essential
Maximum of 5 years Senior Sales Executive Experience: Essential
