Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer for a Renowned Company.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The primary purpose of this role is to be a great developer. You will form part of the Integration team and will regularly engage with your teammates and our clients to design, develop, test, implement, and support the solutions that we have in place, and the solutions that we are planning to build. There will always be an expectation that you help to upskill your teammates through knowledge and experience sharing. Likewise, you will learn from the past experiences and knowledge of your fellow teammates.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Minimum of 5-8 years Software / Web Development experience
2. Dapper and Entity Framework Core
3. WCF and Rest Web Services
4. APIs (REST, GraphQL, OData)
5. GitLab (beneficial)
6. Software Architectural Design Patterns and implementation of such
7. Project and Product Management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions within JAS
2. Provide internal and external (client) support
3. Write and implement quality and high-performing code
4. Write and implement high-quality unit tests
5. Develop, maintain, and implement software tools, processes, and procedures
6. Conduct research and development
7. Test and evaluate new technologies
8. Identify improvement areas
9. Assist with peer and code reviews
10. Collaborate with developers from other teams to implement the best solutions possible
11. Maintain a high level of expertise in all aspects of development
