About the Role
As the Senior Sales Representative, you will be critical in expanding the company’s presence beyond its core industries into FMCG-focused packaging and automated equipment solutions. This role requires identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and executing effective sales strategies to align with the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities in food production, agriculture, chemicals, and FMCG sectors;
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive growth across new industries;
- Promote and sell bulk material handling, palletising, bagging, and conveying solutions;
- Build strong relationships with clients, offering customised automation solutions to meet their needs;
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product solutions meet client expectations;
- Manage the sales process from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure;
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends to drive continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with expertise in automated equipment solutions related to packaging or material handling;
- Proven success in breaking into new markets and meeting ambitious sales targets;
- Experience selling to food production, agriculture, chemicals, and FMCG industries;
- Strong understanding of palletising, bagging, and bulk material handling equipment;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships;
- Willingness to travel to meet clients across regions and industries;
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not essential if the relevant experience is present.
