About the Role:

As the Senior Sales Executive at Tumodo, you will be the driving force behind our business growth and client success in the South African market. Your strategic insight and ability to forge strong client relationships will help establish Tumodo as a trusted partner for businesses in the region. You’ll play a pivotal role in revenue acceleration and team collaboration, propelling Tumodo to new heights in the business travel industry.

Critical Tasks:

  • Generate new clients for our outstanding web-based technology as a specialist in business travel for Flights, Cars, and Trains.
  • Understand the needs of South African businesses and articulate the value Tumodo provides. Follow the full sales cycle.
  • Present product demos to potential clients, negotiate deals, and manage follow-ups until the deal closes.
  • Master the sales forecast and tactical planning for the South African market.
  • Help define and establish best practices within the wider sales team.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance analytics and forecasts.
  • Consult conservative clients and guide them into digital opportunities.
  • Own the total sales process, from the first touchpoint to contract negotiations.
  • Evaluate the existing infrastructure of clients and propose individual SaaS solutions.
  • Suggest innovative upsell or partner ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience.


Requirements for Success:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (4 to 7 years) in B2B sales within the travel industry.
  3. Experience in the South African market and strong knowledge of B2B sales.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. A proactive approach in identifying opportunities, overcoming challenges, and delivering results.


The ideal candidate should also demonstrate the ability to cultivate and lead strong client relationships while being a valuable contributor to a high-performing sales team.
