Execute cross border building projects & manage cross border teams.
Budgetary and financial responsibility for building projects.
Project tendering and preparation.
Project resource management, including management of project resources over multiple locations.
Client relationship management during project execution.
Business development and client liaison at project level.
Growing market position within new and existing client groups through quality project execution.
Engage clients, determining their needs, qualify opportunities, developing custom solutions and compiling proposal documents.
Negotiating and concluding new assignments with Clients.
Developing, reviewing and executing project contract documents.
Contribute to strategic growth of the Industry Advisory Group Project Management Team.
Other project and operational support as required.
Post Graduate Project Management Qualification is beneficial.
A minimum of 8 years post graduate experience managing multi-disciplinary building projects as a consultant and preferably in the private sector.
Professional registration with a relevant body (SACPCMP / PMI / ECSA / SACAP) is required.
Demonstrable experience on multidisciplinary design coordination, preferably on industrial / data centre building projects.
Fundamental knowledge and experience in greenfield and brownfield industrial building / data centre building projects.
Good understanding of industry practices, trends, processes and standards as well as their impact on project activities.
Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders on all levels and through-out the life cycle of the project.
Commercial/design/project management competencies/experience, comfortable with playing central role in both project acquisition, design and execution, with excellent communication skills.
Practical management experience having led a project team.
Competent report writing skills and excellent communication ability.
Computer literacy in MS Office and Project, Common Data Environments & other platforms at an advanced level i.e. ACC, ASITE, Revizto, etc.
Consulting background/knowledge/skills.
