The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to shape and accelerate the growth trajectory of one of our most dynamic business units, combining strategic People partnership with tangible commercial impact. You'll play a key role in organisational design, elevating leadership capability, and building high-performance sales and marketing teams during a period of significant expansion. Beyond traditional People business partnering, this role demands someone who can speak the language of sales and marketing, understands what drives these type of teams, and can translate this into compelling talent and development strategies. What You Will Be Doing

1. Guide leaders in the design and evolution of their functions (structure and leadership) to be fit for future challenges. This includes developing people strategies and career plans that enable business results both now and in the future.
2. Drive people experience projects from design to execution.
3. Provide change management support for all organisational changes.
4. Design and implement Leadership development journeys.
5. Drive robust Talent Management practises including Talent Mapping and Talent Planning.
6. Drive conversations and initiatives to shape and evolve our culture and ensure our values are lived consistently.
7. Coordinate with specialists inside the People & Culture team to deliver HR programs to the business, including, Talent Acquisition, Career frameworks, Leadership Development Programs, L&D roadmaps, Compensation and Performance management cycles.
8. Partner leaders to build highly effective teams who deliver excellence.

About You

1. You should be professionally qualified in HR Management with a completed, relevant degree or certificate.
2. You should have at least 10 years of work experience post studies with 5+ years experience as a People Business Partner, partnering with senior leadership within a business function.
3. Experience partnering a Sales and Marketing function is highly advantageous.
4. Experience working in a Fintech, or a Tech company similar in size and customer orientation to Yoco is highly advantageous.
5. You should have experience working effectively through 0-1, growth and expansion phases of a tech business.
6. You should have a proven track record elevating hiring and onboarding programmes in tandem with a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
7. You should have significant depth in organisational design, people manager development and coaching, facilitation, and employee relations.
8. You should have a proven track record in building performance optimisation programmes that drive individual performance to reach performance targets.
9. You should have effective and influential communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style as needed.
10. You are an empathetic partner, who can coach employees and managers through complex situations and sensitive matters.
11. You are a strong collaborator and an agent for change in a rapidly evolving business.
