About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with at least 5 years of payroll expertise to lead payroll operations for a UK-based business. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes, implement improvements, and act as a mentor to junior payroll staff. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a growing remote team while working collaboratively with the UK office.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processes for high-volume temporary labor payrolls.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Provide detailed reporting and analysis of payroll data for key stakeholders.
Resolve complex payroll-related queries, ensuring a high level of service to clients.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement payroll best practices.
Mentor and support junior payroll team members to ensure consistent high performance.
Collaborate closely with the UK-based team to ensure seamless integration between operations.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in high-volume or international environments.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements in payroll operations.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of payroll software and systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to handle complex client interactions.
Leadership and mentoring experience in a remote or hybrid work environment.
