Senior Manager : SCM : 5 year fixed term contract, East London

We are seeking a Senior Manager: Supply Chain Management for a 5-year fixed term contract role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or legal field as well as related Post Graduate Qualification.
2. 8+ years working experience of which at least five (5) years must be at management or senior consultant level within a SCM environment.

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Manage the SCM function including development and implementation of strategies within budget whilst ensuring compliance.
2. Improving the efficacy of acquisition.
3. Ongoing review of organisational supply chain activities.
4. Oversee procurement, logistics, and bid administration processes.
5. Oversee tender evaluation process and ensure adherence to legislative framework.
6. Provide technical and administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Implement corrective measures.
8. Run the SCM function with the ultimate objective of improving overall organisational performance.

Salary: R1 285 000 - R1 900 000 per annum for contract duration.
