Primary Purpose: The successful incumbent will be responsible for formulating and executing tactical Personal and Alliance Banking strategy and associated delivery plans, ensuring business integration and operational implementation through the achievement of business objectives.
Responsible for managing both the revenue and cost elements of the business unit income statement.
Grow market share within the personal and alliance banking by retaining/penetrating customer base with a view of increasing profitability.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent FAIS RE 5
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 years' minimum corporate experience, Proven track record of managing business development teams
TECHNICAL COMPETENCY:
Identify and implement revenue or cost saving opportunities and ensure adherence to budget.
Drive customer centricity strategy formulation and execution for Personal and Alliance Banking.
Ensure operational efficiencies, compliance and risk deliverables are embedded.
Provide management responsibility to Personal and Alliance Banking team.
Lead migration of customers to digital platforms.
Drive stakeholder engagement with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Perform different analytics to assist with business impact.
Drive a continuous learning culture which focuses on innovation and value-adding solutions in line with best practice.
