Senior Legal Advisor

The above vacancy exists within the Legal Services to provide strategic legal support to the business in line with the approved organisational and departmental strategy. This includes partnering with other departments in order to improve the legal services rendered to the company as well as playing a support role to the Legal Services' General Manager.

A postgraduate qualification such as LLM would be advantageous. A minimum of 7 years' relevant experience, including:

1. 3 years music industry experience
2. 1 year compliance/risk management experience (preferred)

1. Ability to manage stakeholders (attorneys, legal consultants, service providers, etc.)
2. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
3. Ability to oversee and manage legal projects
4. Excellent computer skills (including word processing and spreadsheet packages)
5. Good written and verbal communication skills
6. Understanding of copyright law is preferable
7. Experience with employment law matters is preferable
