JOB PURPOSE
Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
2. Completes regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc.
3. Involved indirectly with ticketing of products and checking paperwork against items received.
4. Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis.
5. Ensures that Company assets and stock are always secured to alleviate shrinkage.
6. Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follows suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team.
7. Attains proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills, ensuring integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.
8. Uses selling techniques such as add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals.
9. Greets customers in the store and assists them in finding the right product.
10. Occasionally serves primarily as a Greeter at the front door during busy workdays.
11. Safeguards Company assets.

Education And Experience Requirements

1. Matric certificate
2. 0 – 1 years of retail experience
