Senior It Service Technician

Role Objectives: The realization of IT services for the assigned PERI locations for the region Middle East Africa as well as the coordination of external IT service providers and IT suppliers.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Provision of the PERI standard workplaces with all the components (Desktop, peripherals, communication tools, network, and software).
2. IT troubleshooting and IT first point of contact in the field service.
3. Processing and documentation of incoming incidents and Service Requests as well as their processing prioritization in a ticket system.
4. Collaboration in international IT projects and infrastructure rollouts.
5. Monitoring of infrastructure parameters.
6. Coordination of external IT services providers and IT supplies.
7. Maintenance of local network infrastructure.

Basic Requirements:

1. Completed vocational training as IT specialist System Integration or comparable.
2. 5 years professional experience.
3. Knowledge in IT Service Management (ITIL).
4. Willingness to travel.
5. Experience with other cultures.

Method Competence: Structured way of working. Analytical thinking.

Specialist Knowledge: Senior IT Specialist. MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or comparable.

Social Competence: Very reliable and competent to drive and execute deliverables proactively. Solution-oriented. Customer-oriented. Highly skilled in communication effectively and across cultures.
