Job description
Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Secretary to join their dynamic team in Sandton. This role entails providing comprehensive secretarial support within the Insurance Litigation department, assisting two directors in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Proficiently manage the CMS system and dicta typing for effective case documentation and communication.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met while coordinating with counsel and maintaining an organized diary system.
Maintain professionalism and efficiency while working under pressure in a high-demand, deadline-driven litigation environment.
Handle various tasks associated with Insurance Liability, Insurance Law, and Insurance Regulatory matters, ensuring all documentation and procedures are accurate and timely.
Key Requirements:
Grade 12.
A relevant secretarial qualification would be an advantage.
Minimum of 5 - 10 years legal secretarial experience.
Proficient in the use of CMS systems and dicta typing.
Sound knowledge of MS Office (i.e., MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Extensive experience as a Senior Professional Secretary in large firms, preferably in Insurance firms or Insurance teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
Experience with Professional Liability matters is highly advantageous.
Highly professional, reliable, and detail oriented.
