Senior ICT Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ICT Solutions Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a wide range of ICT solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role demands a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge across multiple platforms, particularly in wireless networking, VoIP, cybersecurity, and Microsoft environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and support ICT infrastructure solutions for a range of clients and internal systems.
2. Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 desktop environments.
3. Install, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP systems (Yeastar) and IP surveillance systems (Hikvision).
4. Perform wireless network planning and deployment using Ubiquiti and Mikrotik technologies.
5. Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are implemented and maintained across ICT environments.
6. Provide field support, maintenance, and upgrades to ICT systems with minimal disruption.
7. Diagnose and resolve complex ICT-related issues both remotely and on-site.
8. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
9. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training sessions.
10. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and certifications relevant to the role.
11. Traveling between head office in Mpumalanga and Gauteng office required.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Education & Certifications :

1. Matric Certification with Mathematics, English, and Computer Science as subjects.
2. CompTIA A+ and N+ International Certifications.
3. Microsoft 365 Certified (Desktop Environment).
4. VoIP Qualifications (Yeastar or equivalent).
5. IP Camera System Certification (Hikvision or equivalent).
6. MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA).
7. Wireless Product-Specific Certifications (Ubiquiti and/or Mikrotik).

Experience :

Minimum of 3–5 years relevant field experience in ICT environments.

Technical Skills :

1. Strong knowledge and experience in wireless network infrastructure.
2. Proficient in the installation and support of VoIP and IP camera systems.
3. Expertise in Microsoft 365 desktop environments.
4. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
5. Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
