Position: Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Lynwood, Pretoria

This role plays an integral part in our team, as you will be running with all the HR business support for a group of entrepreneurial companies.

We are looking for a Human Resource professional to provide people practices, strategic and HR business support to the entire group of companies. This person will bring our employee value proposition to life and be the custodian of our employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone who questions traditional HR practices and challenges the status quo of how we engage with our people. Someone who embraces different thinking, researches new HR trends and structures approaches that work with the organisation. We want you to deliver HR practices that help business accomplish their strategy.

You may be wondering, what would such a fantastic individual’s duties include?

  1. Implement the group people strategy, focusing unwaveringly on employee experience, staff retention, and continuously reinventing the employee experience.
  2. The custodian of the company culture through the institution of rituals in support of our values and behaviours.
  3. Understand our employees through interaction and regular feedback sessions with management and staff.
  4. Develop and execute an employee wellness program that keeps the employee at the center while looking after what is best for business.
  5. Focus on employee engagement by keeping development front of mind and informing them of what is happening in their work world.
  6. Ensure queries, complaints, and issues are addressed and that our employees feel they have HR support.
  7. Support and consult with management on all things people and provide daily HR guidance.
  8. Provide expert HR advice regarding policies and labour law.
  9. Execute all HR admin tasks according to established processes.
  10. Manage risks by ensuring compliance with state and legal requirements.
  11. Compile and present the monthly MANCO report on HR outputs.
  12. Manage the HR operations and its team to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks.
  13. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  1. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a similar field.
  2. Knowledge of Industrial Relations and Labour Legislation.
  3. 3+ years’ experience in relevant roles that include HR functions and best practices.
  4. At least 1 - 2 years' Management experience.
  5. Proven excellence in your previous endeavours.
