Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Design and execute the Group HC Strategy, including Learning and Development.
  2. Design and implement OD initiatives.
  3. Provide feedback on Psychometric assessments (CPP, VO, EQ).
  4. Talent and succession planning.
  5. Provide line managers with guidance and support on HC activities, policies, and practices.
  6. Strategically resource the business through a variety of recruitment methodologies.
  7. Plan and organise ASI Group Conferences, Breakaways, and Events.
  8. Manage Employee Relations such as poor performance improvement and disciplinary hearings.
  9. Ensure statutory reports are completed and submitted on time.
  10. Internal communications, including EVP communication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Master’s degree in industrial psychology.
  2. Registration with the HSPCA as an Industrial Psychologist.
  3. BBBEE scorecard knowledge is advantageous.
  4. 5 years’ experience.
  5. Working experience with MS Office, including Excel (Intermediate).

  3. Ability to manage several tasks concurrently making use of systems and processes to manage time and volumes.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Must be able to work in a highly demanding fast-paced environment.
  6. Able to work in an environment where not all systems are established. Take ownership to identify gaps and establish protocols and systems.
  7. Good understanding of HR data analytics.
