Lead the creative development and execution of design concepts for a variety of retail clients, from initial idea generation to final delivery
Design integrated campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital ads, social media content, email marketing, print, OOH (out-of-home), and in-store materials
Maintain visual consistency across retail brands, ensuring brand standards are upheld while adapting designs to meet specific campaign needs
Collaborate closely with account managers and clients to understand business objectives, target audiences, and challenges, ensuring design solutions align with goals
Lead a team of designers to create visually compelling digital assets for e-commerce websites, online ads, product pages, and digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic and conversions
Create and design engaging in-store signage, POS displays, window concepts, and other retail-specific materials to enhance the customer experience
Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers, guiding them in skill development and creative output
Work cross-functionally with account managers, strategists, and copywriters to ensure seamless execution of all design concepts
Ensure that all designs are of the highest standard in terms of creativity, accuracy, and consistency, overseeing the production process from concept to final output
Stay on top of design trends and retail innovations to keep your work fresh, innovative, and relevant
Manage multiple projects effectively, balancing creativity with client deadlines and priorities
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, digital design, and integrated advertising campaigns
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with web design tools such as Figma or similar
Deep understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to create designs that align with brand identity while maintaining a visually compelling aesthetic
Proven ability to generate innovative concepts and translate them into cohesive, impactful campaigns
Experience working across various media, including digital, social, and print
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with clients, team members, and other departments to deliver successful projects
High attention to detail, quality, and precision under pressure, ensuring design work exceeds expectations
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable presenting and articulating design concepts to clients and stakeholders
Experience designing for retail brands (including both traditional and digital media) is a significant bonus
Motion graphics or video design experience (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Knowledge of UX / UI design principles
Print production experience, including working with printers, fabricators, and external partners
Basic understanding of HTML / CSS or front-end web design is a plus
