Senior Financial Officer Ca(Sa)

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Senior Financial Officer to join the finance team for a permanent position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Director, you will play a critical part in enhancing financial operational efficiency and providing key insights to shape the company's strategic direction.

Minimum Requirements Qualifications And Skills:

1. A Chartered Accountant with CA (SA) accreditation SAICA.
2. Minimum of 8 years experience in financial management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
3. Strong understanding of local and international financial regulations.
4. Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, cashflow management and analysis.
5. Experience in producing robust management accounts.
6. Leadership and experience in managing big financial teams.
7. Advanced knowledge of SQL programming, MS Excel, accounting systems and BI Applications.
8. Strategic thinking.

Duties:

1. Manage financial operations, including cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies to support long term growth.
3. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Directors and Executives.
4. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
5. Oversee financial performance analysis and drive cost management initiatives.
6. Identify financial risks and develop mitigating strategies.
7. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
8. Manage performance of the team and promote employee engagement.
