Senior Finance Accountant – JSE Listed Real Estate Leader

Our client, a JSE listed giant in the Real Estate sector, with over 20 years of market presence and a footprint across Africa, is looking to expand their Finance team with the addition of a Senior Finance Accountant.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Must have SAICA articles and a minimum of 6 years of post-articles experience, ideally within the property (real estate) space.
2. Strong expertise in reporting, budgeting, foreign exchange exposure, liaison with auditors, and consolidations.

This high-impact role reports directly to the Finance Director, offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership and make strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Preparing and analysing financial reports.
2. Managing budgets and forecasts.
3. Handling foreign exchange exposures.
4. Leading consolidations across multiple entities.
5. Liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

1. BCom Accounting
2. SAICA articles - Non-negotiable
3. Mastery of both English and French
4. 6 years of relevant Real Estate experience
5. Consolidations
6. IFRS 16 - Leasing
