The Senior Financial Accountant is required to look after the WSP statutory entities outside South Africa but within the African continent. Support financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, reconciling, and reporting financial data by collaborating with various stakeholders where necessary. Ensure compliance to relevant laws, regulations and reporting requirements in various countries. Work with financial service providers in various countries to ensure compliance from statutory and financial perspective. Provide the necessary operational assistance to various business unit leads as and when required. Able to travel to various countries to gain a better understanding of local requirements and build a solid working relationship with the various stakeholders and service providers. Ensure monthly financial records are reconciled, supported and be able to present the financial performance to the Finance Director monthly.
Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behaviour consistent with the company's health, safety, environmental and quality vision, and policies by influencing those around you. Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero Harm. Embracing, displaying, and promoting the company values and ensuring a safe working environment is always maintained.
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years' experience in similar field. Experience working with African Entities.
