Duties & Responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly reporting and analysis
2. EXCO presentation
3. Group and regulatory reporting
4. Income tax and VAT submissions
5. Internal Controls management
6. Monitor risks affecting distribution channels and implement systems to mitigate risks
7. Prepare budgets and forecasts
8. Monthly TB processing and review
9. Review / prepare monthly BS recons
10. Review daily payments and analysis of supporting schedules
11. Ad hoc reports and projects
12. Prepare AFSL
13. Liaise with internal and external auditors
14. Business partner for distribution channels
15. Team management

Education

Qualified CA(SA)

Skills & Experience

1. 5 to 7 years post articles experience within a technical role with a focus on group reporting and tax / VAT
2. Insurance industry experience essential
