Senior Electrical or Mechatronic Design Engineer (Centurion)

We are seeking an Electrical or Mechatronic Design Engineer with 7-10 years of working experience. The role is in the commercial vehicle development field, focusing on all aspects relating to electrical systems in the automotive sector. This position is based in Centurion, working with international clients.

Minimum qualifications and experience required:

• BEng or BTech (Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering)
• Automotive OEM Design experience
• 7-10 years design experience
• 3D CAD - Siemens NX will be an advantage

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Medium and heavy-duty truck chassis harness design using 3D CAD and 2D Schematic software.
• Vehicle electrical systems design.
• Electrical component integration.
• Product data management.
• Conducting concept and design reviews.
