A leading Electrical Engineering company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based at their office in Pretoria.

This position is responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of professional electrical designs as part of the complete design process to meet client specific requirements. To implement these designs and manage associated requirements.

Design Deliverables:

• Load Lists
• Transformer Sizing
• Cable Schedules
• MCC Design (IEC61439) and Layout
• Heat Rise Calculation
• Schematic Diagrams
• Equipment Selection
• Network Layout
• Lighting Design
• Substation Design
• Cable Rack and Routing
• Legal Electrical Requirements
• Installation Requirements

Qualification and Requirements:

• Degree/ Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent
• Eng or Pr. Tech
• 6 - 10 years operational and design experience (inclusive of relevant design program)
• Exposure to Mining, Processing or Oil & Gas Industry
• Exposure to industrial plants and processes
• SANS Standards
• International electrical and instrumentation standards
• MHS Acts & OHS Act.
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
• Proficiency with all Microsoft packages
• MV Experience is advantageous
• Instrumentation experience is advantageous
