Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power systems, electrical design, and project management, particularly in mining and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil and mechanical engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc).
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech Eng.) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of MV and HV power systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, and PLC/SCADA systems.
• Experience in electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, DigSilent, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Proven track record in project management and leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
