Our client is a leading food manufacturer, supplying into bakeries, supermarkets and online food delivery companies. They are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join their senior management team.

1. Provide a mixture of hands-on and hands-off engineering tasks
2. Provide electrical support & repairs for all production equipment, automation, PLC & controls
3. Part of the senior management duty manager team on their 1 in 5 weeks call out rota
4. Support shift engineers to resolve problems, delegate workload and engineering plans
5. Electrical & controls - fault finding in panels, PLC's, electrical safety & isolations
6. Resolving plant issues, PPM's, project work
7. Managing contractors, suppliers, CI planning, spares/parts ordering, inventory control
8. Attending meetings & shift handovers, lean manufacturing implementation, reliability engineering
9. Asset care management plans
10. Lead CI activities - drive change, conduct training, project work installations

1. Must be a hands-on experienced technical expert in electrical engineering
2. Role would suit an experienced engineering team manager / leader
3. Ideally be an electrical biased engineer, with knowledge of automation & control systems
4. Able to show leadership qualities, strong character, decision maker
5. Happy being part of the senior management team, on the duty manager on-call rota
6. Electrical safety, LOTO and isolation experience
7. Must have worked in food manufacturing previously
8. Worked with CMMS systems
9. Knowledge of implementing new PPM plans, processes and procedures
10. Project management experience - leading CI activities, machine installations & planning
