Senior Credit Data Analyst / Credit Data and Risk Insights Analyst

About the Role

Fempower is recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Credit Data Analyst on behalf of a leading financial institution. This role is pivotal in sourcing, aggregating, and analyzing credit data to support risk modeling, pricing, and portfolio reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Sourcing & Management – Extract and consolidate credit data from internal systems, public sources, and financial institutions.
• Credit Risk Modelling Support – Organize and maintain data for credit risk models, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Portfolio Reporting – Design and maintain dashboards/templates to track credit portfolio performance.
• Credit Risk Pricing – Provide analytical support for credit margin pricing and model inputs.
• Country & Sovereign Risk Analysis – Maintain risk ratings, limits, and policies.
• Ad-hoc Analysis & Reporting – Deliver data-driven insights to support business decisions.

Key Requirements

• Qualifications: BCom in Computer Science, BSc in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience: 6-8 years in credit data management within financial services, ideally in an analytical/credit lab setting.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL, Power BI, SAS, SSAS, and experience with credit models (PD, LGD, EAD, Scorecards).
• Advantageous: Python, Microsoft R, and exposure to Development Finance.
