Minimum of 5 years credit control experience within Insurance Sector essential
TIAL system experience will be highly advantageous
Plans and initiates strategies for premium collections
Ensure that tight credit control is maintained on all outstanding insurance premiums through coordination of all collection activities and ensures prompt collections
Account reconciliations
Where required, initiate proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are brought to a satisfactory conclusion
Conducts market surveys and identifies changes in the insurance industry
Operations
Monitors and controls the outstanding premium book
Compiles, disseminates and monitors implementation of collection policies, procedures and FSB regulations
Ensures that compliant brokers are loaded
Analyses arrear premiums on a monthly basis
Ensures strict and continuous follow-up of outstanding premiums
Regularly reviews non-performing brokers in terms of late payments and plans/strategies for recovery of those premiums
Handles refunds
Manages debit order recalls and forced debits
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Prepares operational analysis of monthly results & trends
Client Service
Handles queries and feedback to internal/external customers
Implements continuous improvement of service delivery in terms of service level agreements and optimizes performance management
Develops relationships with clients and sales through ongoing communication
