Senior Corporate Travel Consultant - Johannesburg

Thompsons Travel (Pty) LTD has a vacancy for a dynamic Corporate Consultant in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for promoting and booking travel arrangements for corporate clients. The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.

Responsibilities

1. Handle and oversee all travel arrangements (air, lodgings etc.) and operations.
2. Provide advice on travel documents, insurance, etc.
3. Ensure service level agreements are adhered to as well as duty of care being a priority for travelers.
4. Problem solving as well as following process to ensure a seamless journey for our traveler.
5. Handle unforeseen problems and complaints.

Requirements

1. EE Candidate.
2. Minimum 5-10 years in corporate travel environment.
3. Online proficiency and experience essential.
4. Working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Applications - Outlook.
5. Proficiency in Amadeus/Travel Port & Quick Trav.
6. Good Geographical knowledge.
7. Sound knowledge of fares and rules for both domestic and international travel.
8. Ability to meet deadlines, targets and attention to detail critical.
9. Good communication skills and a team player.
10. Problem solver.
