Candidate will execute a variety of senior conveyancing paralegal duties of a confidential nature. These tasks will include working with attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions.
Registration of subdivision, consolidation and servitudes.
Opening of sectional and township registers.
Drafting of commercial bonds (mortgage and notarial) for institutions such as STD Bank, Nedbank, Investec, Grindrod, and African Bank.
Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including document preparation, client communication, and liaising with relevant parties.
Handling bonds and transfers with precision and efficiency.
Facilitating and finalizing cancellations.
Assist with property transfers and related legal procedures.
Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of all conveyancing tasks.
Maintain accurate records and files.
Qualifications
National Diploma or equivalent.
Criteria
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience working in a conveyancing environment.
Experienced paralegal with both transfer and bonds experience with FNB, Standard Bank, and Nedbank.
Good command of the English language.
Knowledge of basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Knowledge of FICA.
Typing speed of 45+ wpm.
In-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions is essential.
