Non-negotiable qualifications and experience required:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5-10 years of experience in construction engineering or management, preferably on large-scale or complex projects.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, methods, and legal regulations in the Netherlands and Europe.
4. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).

Location Requirement:

Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

2. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
3. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from initial design through to completion, ensuring all technical aspects are adhered to.
2. Develop project specifications, budgets, timelines, and schedules, managing resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
3. Conduct site assessments, inspections, and surveys to identify potential construction challenges, recommending solutions to mitigate risks.
4. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and Dutch and international construction codes.
5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to align on project goals and requirements.
6. Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, working closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
