Senior Compliance Officer

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Investment Compliance professional to join a well-respected investment management team as a Senior Compliance Officer. This role offers growth and an opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance, document findings, and report findings in terms of REG28, REG30, LTIA, CISCA.
• This monitoring will cover and require experience and knowledge with:
  • Collective Investment Schemes Act: Board Notice 90 of 2014, Board Notice 92 of 2014, Board Notice 257 of 2013 (foreign collective investment due diligence), Board Notice 52 of 2015 Hedge Funds.
  • Pension Fund Act: Regulation 28, monitor, issue certificates and Schedule IBs.
  • Medical Aid Schemes Act: Regulation 30, monitor and issue certificates.
  • Long Term Insurance Act: Regulation 2.2.
  • UCITS, Segregated Mandate Compliance.
  • ASISA Standards & Guidelines.
• Analysis and reporting of Reg 28.
• Assist with ASISA & FSB quarterly reports.
• Investigate breaches from Trustees.
• Liaise with Regulators.
• Manage Compliance Static Data.
