Hire Resolve's client in Umhlanga is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Compliance Legal Counsel to join their team. As a Senior Compliance Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance on compliance matters to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting compliance risk assessments
2. Developing and implementing compliance programs
3. Leading compliance training initiatives
4. Collaborating with business units to identify and address potential compliance issues
5. Providing recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• LLB degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Compliance Legal Counsel in the financial services industry
• Deep knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Experience in conducting compliance risk assessments
• Proven track record of implementing compliance programs and leading training initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Admission as an attorney
