Cloud Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Develop blueprints for a multi-tenant cloud framework, including governance, security, identity management, and operational controls.
Azure Infrastructure Management: Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS & PaaS services, configure virtual networks, integrate third-party and on-premise solutions, and optimize cloud services for performance and cost efficiency.
Security, Compliance & Business Continuity: Develop and implement enterprise cloud security frameworks, ensuring disaster recovery (BCP / HA), backups, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Automation & System Optimization: Leverage PowerShell scripting and DevOps methodologies to automate cloud deployments and system administration tasks. Identify innovative, cost-effective approaches to improve cloud operations.
Project Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and coordinate cloud infrastructure projects, acting as a bridge between DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth execution. Provide guidance and mentorship to IT teams on cloud best practices.
Monitoring, Reporting & Trend Analysis: Implement cloud resource monitoring, analyze performance trends, and develop proactive solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability. Conduct technical evaluations and proofs-of-concept for emerging technologies.
Requirements:
Degree / Diploma in IT (NQF Level 7)
Certifications: Microsoft Certified Cloud Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Microsoft Specialist: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
Experience: 8-10 years in a senior technical role, with at least 5 years in Microsoft technology and cloud solution design. Expertise in Azure, virtualization, security, compliance, automation, DevOps, and system integration.
