Senior Civil Engineering Design Technologist/Technician

Are you a seasoned Civil Engineering Design Technologist/Technician with 10+ years of experience and a passion for delivering innovative and high-quality designs? This is your opportunity to join a dynamic team working on impactful projects in an office-based role in Krugersdorp.

Key Requirements:

1. National Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline).
2. Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician/Technologist.
3. Labour Intensive Construction NQF Level 5 or 7 certification.
4. Proficiency in Civil Designer, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
5. In-depth knowledge of GCC, FIDIC, NEC, or JBCC contracts.
6. Strong understanding of engineering concepts, industry standards, and relevant legislation (HS Act, Construction Regulations, Environmental Management Act).

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead design teams and act as the design team leader on project components.
2. Provide technical guidance and verify designs by junior team members.
3. Manage and process survey and site investigation information.
4. Conduct feasibility studies, master planning, and options analysis.
5. Prepare technical proposals, procurement documents, Bills of Quantities, and cost estimates.
6. Liaise with clients and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
7. Ensure adherence to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and promote professional and ethical practices.
8. Solve complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
