Job description

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of cold and hot dishes
  • Cooking, plating/packaging with attention to detail and presentation
  • Stock control - stock counts, stock receiving and checking, wastage, spoilage, and portion control
  • Maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Managing food safety standards
  • Any other ad hoc duties required by management

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in a CDP role
  • Able to communicate in English and Afrikaans
  • Matric
  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality will be advantageous
  • Basic computer literacy
