Senior Category Manager

A leading business services company is looking for a Senior Category Manager to take responsibility for leading a medium sized team and managing several high profile categories for the business; duties will include:

• Set and deliver a category strategy across materials frameworks.
• Lead and develop a medium sized procurement team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in category performance for assigned categories.

Candidate Requirements

Demonstrable track record of successfully running a function & delivering a regional, national procurement strategy.

Minimum of 5 years’ strategy procurement experience from a mix of public and private sector experience.

Must have a track record of successfully delivering project procurement strategies, together with managing small to medium sized procurement teams.

Relevant degree or CIPS is desirable.
