About the job Senior Business Analyst (LISP / Unit Trusts)

A company in the asset management and investment field is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join their Business Solutions Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling the approach (strategy document and business case) for our core system upgrade project.
You will be required to perform detailed requirement analysis, documenting processes as well as performing a gap analysis between existing and new functionality. You will define the detailed requirements for system implementation resulting from the gap analysis performed. You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the Business Solutions Manager.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Business case definition
Process and data mapping
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
GAP analysis between current and new versions of the system
Full range of business requirements analysis and definition (including but not limited to functional, non-functional, and data requirements)
Testing
Fully involved in the Software Development Life Cycle (agile and hybrid) and project delivery
Essential Experience:
At least 5 years direct experience in Unit Trust and LISP (Discretionary and Life and Retirement Products) administration with in-depth knowledge of the products, legislative reporting, and operational processes that support the administration of these products.
Very good understanding of the end-to-end administration processes and systems that support these.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior BA role with proven experience in Business Case definition, process, and business analysis on medium to large projects.
Proven ability to abstract detail into models.
Strong in understanding project implementation necessities.
Proven track record of driving and implementing improvements.
Experience in Agile and Waterfall.
