Salary: £55K - £62K

Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known social housing company based in East London who are looking for a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join their team.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor who is proficient in managing reactive repairs, voids, and damp and mould projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to.
2. Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain, maximizing leverage and working seamlessly within the business.
3. Oversee some members of the team.
4. Firm understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works; a disrepair building maintenance surveying background would be desirable.
5. Previous experience working in the social housing/local authority sector.
6. Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
7. Proactive approach to work.
8. Proven track record for being reliable and punctual.
9. Must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Key Knowledge:

1. Social Housing, Building Contractor, and local authority industry knowledge.
2. Previous experience of overseeing other Surveyors.
3. IT and Excel literate.
4. HNC or equivalent surveying qualification required.
