Senior bookkeeper/ Financial Manager Position
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Cash book
- Creditors and Debtors control
- Management accounts
- Budgets - Prepare and capture monthly
- Annual projections
- Cash flow
- Manage inventory and stock levels
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Commissions
- Monthly sales Matrix
- Financial Trading - Addendum
- Journals - Accruals, Provisions, Commissions, Depreciation etc
- Fixed Asset Register - Updated as required
- Supervise and manage team by establishing financial systems and processes
- Develop pricing strategies to maximise profitability
- Payroll
- VAT (Prepare and check with auditors)
- PAYE
- Financial strategic planning
- Costing and pricing
- Reporting to the CEO
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Bcom or equivalent
- 5-10 years experience in Financial Management or minimum 10 years experience as Senior bookkeeper
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skill and attention to detail
- Fishing/Butchery trade experience is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Sage Evolution and Microsoft Office programs
Working hours: 08:00 – 16:30pm
