Our clients, based in East London, an accounting and auditing concern, are seeking top calibre candidates to join the team ASAP.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

1. Grade 12 with relevant degree
2. 8+ years in a senior management role in an accounting practice or relevant exposure
3. Strong communication skills
4. Solid exposure to team leadership/mentorship
5. Results-driven
6. Attention to detail
7. Extensive knowledge of TAX/VAT procedures

The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Drafting financial statements
2. Preparation of TAX/VAT calculations
3. Reviewing team files and ensuring 100% compliance
4. Training junior bookkeepers
5. Compliance reports and checking thereof
6. Senior level engagement with various stakeholders
7. Managing junior personnel and performance management

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

This role is not suited to a recently graduated article clerk or audit senior; it is specifically for an accounting professional with a solid background in a similar firm or private company.
