Senior Accountant - George

Our client based in George, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with clients and work directly with directors

1. Monthly processing of bank transactions on Sage and Xero
2. Monthly processing of salaries on Sage payroll, submission of EMP201 and EMP501 returns
3. VAT Reconciliations, submission of VAT201 returns to SARS
4. Correspondence with SARS
5. Preparation of financial statements on Caseware

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA(SA), CIMA, or SAICA).
2. Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in an Accounting Firm.
