Senior Accountant - Accounting/Auditing Industry

Hire Resolve’s esteemed client in the Audit and Accounting Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Accountant with SAIPA Articles, to join their Office in Ruimsig!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Manage client relationships.
• Supervise and train junior staff.
• Ensure statutory compliance.
• Utilize accounting software.
• Manage payroll and employee tax.
• Perform financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Hold a BComm Accounting Degree or equivalent.
• Have completed SAIPA articles.
• Possess 5 years’ post-article experience in an accounting practice environment.
• Demonstrate supervisory and client management experience.
• Manage multiple staff and meet monthly targets.
• Train junior staff.
• Prepare working papers and annual financial statements for all entities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Caseware Working Papers, Pastel Partner, Sage Online, and Xero.
• Have knowledge of all statutory requirements for SARS, COIDA, and the Department of Labour.
• Possess experience with E-Filing and Easyfile.
• Have payroll and employee tax knowledge.
