Job description

Datacentrix is looking for a Security Solutions Sales Specialist with solution design and detailed solution presentations to customers.

The candidate will be required to foster good relationships with external customers and support the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the company in selling environments with technical oversight by providing demonstrations or proof of value / concepts to support the sales cycle of security technologies.
  2. Vendor management will be required for this role.
  3. Generate and qualify leads.
  4. Source and develop client referrals.
  5. Prepare sales action plans and strategies with the commercial Account Manager.
  6. Conduct white space analysis by customer with the Account Manager.
  7. Develop and maintain customer database.
  8. Plan and conduct direct marketing activities.
  9. Make sales calls to new and existing clients.
  10. Build and demonstrate Datacentrix company value proposition.
  11. Forecast accountability for annuity and new business.
  12. Conduct market comparison for technology stack responsible.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in sales within the IT or technology security space, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  2. Strong understanding of network security technologies, solutions, and market trends, including but not limited to firewalls, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
  3. Experience in generating leads, building customer relationships, and driving sales for complex technology solutions.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Ability to conduct detailed white space analysis and market comparisons to guide sales strategies.
  6. Experience managing relationships with technology vendors and partners to drive product knowledge and sales.
  7. Ability to provide accurate sales forecasts and manage reporting to track progress and success.
  8. Matric, or Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
