Section Manager (U / G)

Seeking a Section Manager with extensive Trackless and specific Board and Pillar experience.

POSITION INFO: Responsibilities:

Assist in controlling, managing, and directing underground mining operations per regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12 or NQF 4 Equivalent
2. Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
3. 3-5 years’ experience as a Mine Manager (MHSA 2.6.1 or 3.1 appointment)
4. Degree or NQF 7 Equivalent in Mining

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 3-4 years Trackless Mining experience

Skills and Knowledge:

1. Strong interpersonal skills
2. Knowledge of systems and related legislation
