Seamstress

INSIGHT OF THIS ROLE:
Your role as a Seamstress is to sew pieces and construct various garments as provided by your team leader and production manager. As a seamstress, you will have to achieve a certain count of manufactured garments as allocated by the production manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the sewing of garments allocated. This includes the following:

• Stitching and unstitching of garments.
• Following up on garments to be sewn.
• Sewing garments per size measurements provided.
• Inline quality control.
• Coordinating with the production supervisor.
• Notifying the team leader if and when there’s a problem with the pattern.
• Ensuring that the sewing machine is in good working order.
• Ensuring that garments sewn are complete before sending off to the QC.
