About the Unit

Based in Durban, KZN, we have an opportunity for a Scheduler/ Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the optimum execution of logistics and distribution activities at our Durban Plant.

Responsibilities

  1. Scheduling and Administration
  2. Ensure optimum planning, execution and control over daily operational and distribution activities
  3. SAP admin and reports
  4. Assisting in the planning, forecasting, budgeting and procurement of raw materials and trading goods.
  5. Planning and scheduling of fertilizer deliveries to customers.
  6. Maintain good communication with market and keep sales force informed of all relevant activities
  7. HESQ
  8. Adhere to Yara Safe by choice and Yara safety principles

Strategic Input

  1. Implement agreed operational plans
  2. Assist in the constant improvement of plans for operational activity
  3. Maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels according to forecast plan

Additional Information

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Experience in logistics, planning, scheduling and forecasting of trading goods
  2. Ability to work independently within a diverse but geographically remote team i.e. self-starter
  3. Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  4. Computer literacy in SAP, Sizanani Scheduling Tool, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint similar packages
