Main job function
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To perform development and integration functions related to the SAP technology stack.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- To perform system analysis and problem-solving across the MCSA SAP Environment and related systems.
- Ensure that technical solutions conform to SAP Architecture and align with MCSA Standards.
- Functional Specifications are translated into detailed Technical Specifications.
- Technical Specifications are compiled and maintained as requirements and updated over the lifespan of the solution.
- Assist with problem-solving within the MCSA SAP development and integration environments.
To develop and test SAP systems for MCSA
- Developments are made according to Technical Specifications and within agreed timelines.
- Perform unit, system integration and user acceptance testing in conjunction with the MCSA SAP Functional Analysts and Business.
To perform maintenance on SAP systems for MCSA
- System and testing documentation is updated with changes.
- Resolve system incidents within the agreed SLA.
- Perform code reviews as required.
To perform System Integration monitoring for MCSA
- Monitoring measures are implemented for system interfaces.
- Handovers are done to SAP Business Support to monitor interfaces and address any issues.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- 3 Years’ Development Experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years’ Development Experience on SAP Platforms / technologies
- 2 years of System Analysis Experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
- Matric (NQF Level 4)
DESIRED EDUCATION:
- ICT degree/diploma
- SAP Certification
