Our client is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP OO Developer with strong customization, debugging, and performance optimization expertise especially within BW frameworks.

EXPERIENCE: 4-6 Years related working experience

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

1. 5+ years SAP ABAP OO development experience
2. 5+ Extensive experience in oData / restful API development
3. 5+ years' ABAP development experience
4. 3+ years' experience in SAP BW (BWonHANA & BW4HANA)
5. 3+ years' experience working with various user applications
6. 3+ years' experience in Conducting Unit tests and Integration tests
7. 3+ years' experience in HANA development

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

1. Strong ABAP and ABAP OO developing skills
2. Experience with data extraction and provisioning (OData / Restful APIs, RFC, BAPI, ODP)
3. Experience with performance tuning, ABAP objects, analysing ABAP logs / dumps
4. SAP ABAP Development & Debugging experience
5. Understanding of BW Modelling Possibilities for ex. BW artefacts CDS Views, annotations, extensions implementation and enhancements
6. Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

1. Deep dive in performance analysis on NetWeaver and Hana
2. Ability to resolve & implement ABAP / BW Related Incidents & Changes (ITSM incident and changes)

4. Very strong understanding of optimized data retrieval and code performance techniques
5. CDS exposed and classic OData services implementation and enhancements

25. Basic understanding of IT architecture PFCG, BW analytic authorizations understanding

ROLE:

1. Development and Customization: Writing and modifying ABAP code for custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
2. Enhancements and creation of custom SAP ABAP frameworks for BW
3. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Analyzing and resolving issues in existing ABAP programs. Debugging code to identify and fix errors or performance issues. Debugging ABAP code related to BW processes to identify and resolve issues.
4. Collaboration: Working closely with SAP analytics platform team members to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
5. Testing: Conducting unit testing of developed programs and functionalities.
6. Documentation: Documenting code changes, technical specifications, and user manuals for developed applications. Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for future reference. Preparing User / How-to Manuals and conducting training to other Team Members.
7. Performance Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing existing ABAP programs for better performance and efficiency. Implementing best practices for coding and database access.
8. Enjoys troubleshooting and performance investigations.
